New Projects...

Here are a few of my new projects I've been working on. As you can see I have started my Christmas themed projects already!


Large & small explosion album box, as well as a large & mini star album (love it that the small one can hang on the tree if so desired!)





Here's me in my studio working on the star album. I have a great wire shelving unit I bought at the same place we got the display units and I can't wait to fix it up - DH just needs to saw a piece off so my 12x12 paper can fit. :o)

Good Day At The Market

We both had an excellent day at the market on Friday. We had a fantastic location, it was the first time we had our new display stand up, & we had a sign made up with our new business name EllaBella Design Studios. And the weather was sooo nice, people were out in droves!!

My Explosion Album in a Box sold right away! It was extremely popular, so I will make plenty more. I made a Christmas theme box (getting ready for the Christmas Craft Fairs already), and I will be sure to take a photo of it this time to share with you! :o)

Lots of New Things Coming!

I've been working on lots of new projects that I can't wait to share! Expolding albums, gift boxes, & of course more greeting cards & magnets. I just LOVE working with all of these gorgeous papers & supplies! :o) I'm so blessed!

Can't wait to take pics and share my latest creations with you!

New Layout

It seems like I haven't done a 12x12 layout for my DD's album in soooo long! It took me a while to get into it, but here's the final result.

More Displays...

I'm so happy we have more displays to showcase our items at the market!! There is a store closing down and they are selling their display units. We made some good finds and can't wait to set it all up at the next market.

Ugly Weather

We're having such ugly weather lately! Grey & wet! I was freezing at the Farmer's Market on Friday, but I stuck it out! (Sorry, no pictures, I completely forgot my camera!!)

Saturday was a bit better after a few initial downpoars, it seemed to warm up a bit, too. The Bathtub parade seemed to bring a few people downtown and I had my best day yet at the market! :o) My new purse albums are a hit, I can't wait to make more! I definitely have my work cut out for me...I have so many projects I want to try.

Last night I finally decided to start up my scrapbooking again for my DD's album. It feels so weird to do 12x12 layouts again! Now I know why some people absolutely love altering items and doing mini albums! LOVE them! I am planning on doing a few mini albums of my DD, and will probably use these as my "sample" albums at the market.

Change of Plans...

I decided to set up shop at the Farmer's Market tomorrow (July 20th) all by myself!! Eekk!

This should be a challenge, but I'm sure it will turn out wonderful!! :o) Must have faith! I'm just worried about the rain & wind, but I couldn't miss out on being a part of the biggest event in Nanaimo - the Bathtub Race Weekend!! Should be fun!

Can't wait so show off my new purse albums! Karen made a great find for me...a magnetic board to display my magnets! Thank you again, Karen! And my husband made a banner for me to display!! YAY! I'll see how much struggling it will take to put it up, it's HUGE! I'll be sure to take some pictures to share. Pray for me that I'll get the covered spot again this week. :o)

Bathtub Special Market

Look for our stall again at the Farmer's Market this Saturday for the special Bathtub weekend market. I'm looking forward to it! I have so many great projects I have on the go, so be on the lookout for more fun stuff soon! I will be making more French Memory Boards as well as mini albums; and I have made some fabulous souvenier cards & magnets with pictures I have taken of beautiful Nanaimo & area.

I picked up some displays from a fabulous lady on Freecycle Nanaimo (many thanks again!). And with more display ideas in the works as well as a banner, I think we'll have a nice booth to showcase our handmade art!

Purse Album

Here is the finished product! I added a few bits of ribbon here and there, but I also couldn't resist my Fancy Pants stamps! They bring the album to life! I stamped on most pages and what a difference!! I have started quite a collection, so I must remember to use them more often!!

What I've Been Up To...

I've been inspired to try some new projects! I have a huge list of things I want to create!!

Here are a couple of new mini purse albums, the first is made from paper bags! They were so fun to create! I'm still embellishing the second purse, so picture it with more ribbons!! :o)
